Our Practice celebrates its 10th Anniversary in 2010. Our routes of inauguration stretch back to 1926 with former titles of W M Wilson and up to 2000 The Wilson Partnership.

The 2000 aim rebrand was a natural progression to identify the diversity of our emerging strengths in Interiors and Media Designs to compliment our long established history as Chartered Architects.

The last ten years have been extremely fulfilling with major Architecture, Interior and Media Projects completed. Aim’s client base has expanded to include several public bodies as our work becomes recognised nationally. Projects such as The Seabraes Masterplan, Dundee Science Centre Phase II, Scottish Housing Expo and Prototype work for Skills Development Scotland have raised our profile beyond our anticipations.

With recent recognition on the DIA and Dundee Civic Trust Awards for our work in the Commercial Interior and Residential Sector, aim look forward to the delivery of future projects, including the 102 bedroom De Havilland Hotel at Dundee Airport, and the first PassivHaus certified Showroom in Perth.

Our research into Zero Carbon Initiatives and the adoption of PassiveHaus energy standards has been instrumental in delivering several private and commercial commissions. In a time of great uncertainty for many, we envisage a positive 2010 and look forward to the future delivery of our broad project base for our diverse and dynamic client base.

To celebrate our 10 years, aim integrated a vital move to new premises at the City Quay and a much needed re-structuring of our internal organisation, culminating in the launch of our new website.

Aim at 10 will be holding an evening celebration in 2010 and hope to see you for a glass of wine soon. Details to be released shortly.
