Garage owners Glenagnes Motors approached Aim to develop their business site for residential use. The design adopts a cascading form to tackle the gradient running down Glenagnes road. Each twin townhouse overlaps the next with a projecting wing to accommodate the change in townhouse level. The roof line follows this dynamic cascade and terminates at a columned projection at the Junction to Logie Gardens. Each Glenagnes Road townhouse has 2 substantial West facing balconies extending the 1st floor living accommodation and upper bedroom respectively. The balconies are extensively used by residents and capture mid day to late afternoon sunlight. The two end townhouses have substantial sheltered terraces providing additional external activity space. All townhouses have the main living accommodation elevated to the 1st floor providing unobstructed views of Logie Avenue and increased privacy.

Three terraced townhouses are positioned to the East of the site off of Logie Gardens again with balconies and private drives.

The materials are a simple combination of white smooth render and Iroko timber with base coursing of blue/grey brick.
