Loch Ness Shores is a camping and leisure development that will provide a destination, amenity and leisure environment of the highest quality, and architectural character to promote and enhance the Foyers area and provide a key tourist destination on the south shores of the loch.

Several rural compositions were assessed to identify the most appropriate form in terms of scale, mass, rural context, visual impact and access. The eventual proposal developed from this analysis presents a series of lesser scale buildings directly associated with low impact architecture and the rural impression common in the Highlands.

A new destination is formed beside the shore offering a sheltered enjoyment of the natural environment of the shore, greater Loch and Foyers village and backdrop setting. Two new public courtyards facing west and east offer further choice and facility to the site users, local community and visitors.

All facilities are designed to achieve 5 star VisitScotland accreditation.
